Well the good news is that the new 165 grain .40 S&W bullet is back from plating and ready to go. The bad news is, they are slightly heavy. A mistake
was made in the engineering drawings and it got past us, so we now have a big load of bullets sitting here that come in at 172 grains rather than the expected 165. No way around it; we'll
have to eat this one, so if you are looking for a lighter .40S&W bullet for a snappier feeling load we'll mark these down ten bucks a box to $98.00.
For those of you who have been
waiting for these, we are sorry for the inconvenience. We are on top of this problem and have ordered a new set of drawings which we are going to try to horsepower through the fabrication
process as quickly as possible. In the interim, as far as subjective feel goes these bullets shouldn't feel too very different than a true 165, so it should be a good practice round for
you should you wish to stock up a little.
Thanks for your continued patience.

| August 5th, 2009 Thanks to the staff, workers and competitors for welcoming us as sponsors to our first Canadian National Championships. Since we entered into this
business less than a year ago, we have attended many smaller matches for the first time as well, and in every case we have been deeply impressed by the sense of family and teamwork that
permeates the sport of Practical Shooting. You are a unique group indeed!
Kudos to all of the match staff and organizers for putting in the hard work and dedication that was necessary to
mount an event of this magnitude, and congratulations to all of the competitors and to the winners. We hope to see you all again soon!

| June 23rd, 2009 Some good news for those of you who have been waiting. The engineering drawings for our new (much) requested products are now done and will be going out this week
for mold fabrication. Soon to be in production:
- 147 grain 9mm

I don't know yet what date these will be available, but it's definitely coming very soon. Watch this space for updates! |

| May 20th, 2009 Keeping you all in the loop:
Recently, we’ve had some bullets come back to us with a strange coloration on them. When inspected prior to packaging the bullets looked entirely normal, but when opened later some of
the bullets from certain batch lots had a strange, blackish tarnished look to them that was of some concern. We immediately sent some product out for chemical testing and discovered a PH
imbalance in the final washing solution (post plating), which resulted in this discoloring taking place after the product was packaged and sealed. Please be assured that we have now
corrected this problem.
Note that if you have any bullets that look like this they will not harm your gun and the surface will not affect accuracy. It is merely a cosmetic issue. However, if you have any
concerns simply contact us at the shop and we’ll make sure it gets sorted out. Contact info@www.aimprojectiles.com
Note that we might not have caught this issue if it hadn’t been brought to our attention by some of our customers. These good folks took the time to contact us and let us know what was
happening, and we do appreciate this. Note that the goal of AIM PROJECTILES to provide the Canadian market place with a quality product at an affordable price, and the feed back and input
of our customers helps us to do this. Nothing improves in a vacuum!
A hearty thanks to those who took the time to help, and we’ll see you at the matches! |

March 2009
- Reports coming in from customers now using our new second-generation bullets are showing excellent results.
- The extra plating thickness (now .004” +) seems to be making a big difference, and the double-striking is keeping everything dimensionally consistent.
- The new 230 grain .45 bullets make me long wistfully for the days when I was shooting the “acp” exclusively.
- I call them the “flying telephone pole” and they are a big, heavy, tack-driving bullet, and I’m really pleased with them.
